From the iconic North American Bison to the sneaky Badger to the impressive Texas Longhorn, animal life in North America is as diverse a subject as almost anywhere else in the world. But capturing moments of this diversity takes several things to come together to be successful. First and foremost is knowledge about the animal you’re working with. The more you know about your subject, the better your chance of capturing something that is memorable and safe for all parties concerned. Also, patience cannot be underestimated when it comes to capturing meaningful moments. But then we cannot forget about luck. Luck plays a large part in capturing images of animals that others may find interesting and possibly beautiful.
